Nipun joined Webb Yates Engineers in 2021. Since joining he has worked the low carbon conversion of a Victorian terraced house in Hackney, which aims to reduce the use of steel and concrete as much as possible, a new £5m single chapel crematorium, and a new highway access bridge over the River Thames.
Highly knowledgeable in all aspect of structural engineering, he has particular expertise in steel and concrete structures, as well as dynamics and soil mechanics. During his studies he developed analysis methods to determine optimum locations for outriggers in tall buildings.
Nipun graduated from Imperial College London 2014 with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and proceeded to progress to senior level with an international multi-disciplinary engineering firm. During this time, he gained sound experience in the use of timber as a structural material and saw several timber schemes through from concept to completion.
