Tom is one of our three Board Directors, responsible for the operation and strategic direction of the business. He remains heavily involved in the delivery of numerous projects across our London and Birmingham offices. He joined Webb Yates Engineers in 2015 and became a Director in 2018. Tom has been pivotal in the growth of the business, leading our delivery of numerous projects across the commercial, aviation, education, and retail sectors.
He combines his advanced analytical capability with a thorough grounding in practical engineering design and project management to ensure architect and client visions are realised.
Prior to joining us, Tom was a founding member of a sports specialism team at a multinational infrastructure consulting firm. His past experience in this sector includes FC Spartak Moscow Stadium, and Al Wakrah Stadium for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. His past experience also includes leading the engineering designs for the Serpentine Pavilions from 2013 to 2015.
Tom has written for a number of industry journals, such as RIBAJ and Building Magazine, and regularly speaks on the topic of low carbon materials and how to use concrete and steel more sustainably.
