Webb Yates Engineers — Rosie Hudson

Since joining in 2021, Rosie has worked with us on many interesting projects, ranging from the £3m redevelopment of an existing church in Fulham, including façade retention and new timber superstructure, to a new 10,000 seat football stadium in South East England. She was also involved in the reuse of 100-year-old salvaged steel sections for a 100,000ft² commercial retrofit project near Tower Bridge.

Rosie is enthusiastic and proactive about delivering sustainable and efficient structural solutions. She is particularly interested in the use of digital tools to improve efficiency throughout the stages of project delivery and is a member of our internal computational design group, aimed at advancing technical knowledge and efficiency within the company.

She graduated from the University of Bristol in 2021 with a master’s degree in engineering design, with a year in industry during which she completed a placement at a national engineering firm. She also completed shorter placements throughout her studies, including at a start-up which aimed to decarbonise construction.
