CEng MEng (Hons) MIStructE
With 18 years’ experience on a wide range of projects, both in the UK and internationally, Rob has led our Birmingham office since 2020. He has since overseen a number of nationally significant projects, including a new world-class training centre at York Minster, a new activity centre at Nene Park with the only Olympic standard climbing wall in the UK, and the redevelopment of Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
Rob has successfully led numerous multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative project solutions. Having worked with leading architects, his expertise lies in creating efficient and elegant solutions as part of an overall holistic design. An in-depth understanding of the design process, ability to visually communicate ideas and fine attention to detail during the construction stage has led to Rob’s track record in successfully delivering high quality projects.
After starting his career at Arup in 2005, Rob joined Webb Yates Engineers’ London office in 2012. After relocating to the Midlands in 2015 he returned to Arup, where he gained a wealth of varied project experience, before returning to our team.
Rob is a Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University School of Architecture and Design.
