With over 30 years’ experience in the field, he specialises in the development of sustainable buildings. Paul has extensive knowledge in the decarbonisation of existing buildings, whilst also producing whole building zero carbon designs for new developments. He has a track record in producing innovative working solutions for large site-wide energy networks, as well as a background in the development of retrofit fabric and energy improvement projects, reducing building consumption by up to 70% within existing buildings.

Paul is passionate about developing sustainable and innovative services solutions for the built environment. Through his sustainability strategies and designs, he has achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ ratings for numerous extension and refurbishment projects, as well as a rating of ‘Outstanding’ for new build projects. He recently completed an energy strategy for a central town development involving one of the largest energy networks in Europe.

Paul was previously Director of a building services consultancy, which merged with Webb Yates Engineers when he joined us in 2020. He shares his knowledge of sustainable design by lecturing at a number of Universities, including London Metropolitan, Royal College of Arts and Kingston University.
