Oscar joined Webb Yates in late 2025 as an engineer, based in London. Since joining, he has supported the structural design for a development in Armenia with ambitious sustainability targets and a focus on low carbon materials, encompassing two market halls, a restaurant, and a culinary school. He has also supported the concept design for an affordable workplace development in Peckham.

He is particularly interested in helping clients and developers better understand carbon impacts and how engineering decisions influence whole-life performance. Oscar’s approach is grounded and analytical, with a focus on careful coordination, collaboration, and developing practical solutions that respond to both technical and environmental constraints.

Oscar graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2022 with a master’s in civil engineering. Following his studies, he worked as an engineer at a small UK engineering practice, where he established a practical foundation in all stages of structural design. His past experience includes private residential projects of varying typologies, commercial retrofits, and a 10-storey reinforced concrete residential and civic building in New Cross.
