CEng MEng (Hons) MIStructE
Dan joined Webb Yates after graduating in 2017. He has worked across a broad range of projects, from small residential refurbishments and extensions to complex infrastructure in critical live environments. Alongside this, he has played a key role in the practice’s research and built work exploring the structural use of stone, with much of his work reconsidering the material for contemporary construction methods, spanning loadbearing elements, prestressed systems, and experimental forms.
He is a technically rigorous engineer and excellent problem solver. Dan takes a proactive, practical approach to new and demanding challenges, and works collaboratively with everyone involved in his projects to ensure elegant, sustainable, and efficient structural solutions. He also leads our Digital Group; an internal taskforce aimed at advancing computational knowledge and tools within the company.
Dan gained his master’s in Civil Engineering at the University of Bath. During his studies, he began developing his engineering knowledge and shaping his hands-on approach through placements at both large and small engineering consultancies.
