Alex joined Webb Yates Engineers in 2024. He has been working with us on a variety of projects, including multiple infrastructure developments at a major UK airport, and a subterranean refurbishment scheme in central London.

Alex combines a strong understanding of engineering first principles with proficiency in analysis software, bridging theoretical and practical approaches to problem-solving. With a strong commitment to sustainability, he has demonstrated success in devising resource-efficient solutions and reducing the carbon impact of building projects, through the integration of new developments with the reuse of existing substructure and superstructure elements.

Having begun his career in the geotechnical field, where he gained a wealth of experience in managing substructure design projects, Alex transitioned to structural engineering to fulfil a passion for sustainable and creative design. His portfolio includes a wide range of project types, ranging from tall buildings and residential developments to rail infrastructure and maritime engineering.
