Welcome Arch

Co-commissioned by In-Situ for the festivals in the Summer of 2024, the pavilion was co-designed with Dual Works through consultation with the local communities across the two Lancashire towns. Our team completed a structural analysis of the wind loading capacity of the design, providing recommendations to ensure stability and safety in high winds.

The arch fulfilled a ceremonial function at the opening of the festivals, providing a place to sit and converse, as well as enjoy workshops, and is now in use at a community hub in Nelson.
