The feature stair responds to the industrial influence of the architectural design by Holloway Li. Cut from a single block of Limestone and chiselled on site, the edge profile becomes rougher as it approaches Basement level, as if hewn from the ground itself. The stone landing is free of reinforcement and demonstrates the solidity of the material.

The staircase exhibits the roughness and strength of natural Atlantic Blue stone and is another example of the post-tensioning engineering system developed by our team with The Stonemasonry Company.
