Webb Yates Engineers completed the structural design for the extensive refurbishment and new rear glass extension of St Mark’s Crescent in Primrose Hill, London.

The scheme conserves significant features of the Grade II* listed building and restores some original architectural features, as well as improving the layout suitable for modern day living whilst preserving its heritage value.

The proposals also consisted of works to the rear garden where alterations to the rear elevation with height increase and rear extension were carried out. We installed a new bespoke iron staircase of traditional design, a new rear glazed extension with steel-framed double doors out to the rear garden with glazing above - all to create an improved layout and flow between rooms.
