Lennox Gardens

Following a year of drawing, testing and research and in tight collaboration with talented artisans and craftsmen, Webb Yates developed this spine like post-tensioned solid natural stone staircase, using a single cable to hold it into position. Its structure was inspired by the architecture and incredible strength of a whale’s vertebrae, where each detail, junction and moment were considered throughout the whole design process.
