The New Stone Age

Clerkenwell Close

Discover the visionary work of Steve Webb from Webb Yates, Amin Taha from Groupwork and Pierre Bidaud from the Stonemasonry Company at The Building Centre's The New Stone Age exhibition.

The exhibition and associated public programme, which will run from 27 February until 12 September, is a celebration of structural stone - of its potential and beauty as well as its inherent sustainability - and will feature the work of a range of eminent international designers.

The curators came together as architect, engineer and craftsman to make 15 Clerkenwell Close – a love letter to structural stone with its limestone façade and fallen Ionic columns where the fossilised coral, ammonite shells, quartz pockets and seams of the material remain. The building is widely recognised as a new London landmark.

Open from 27 Feb - 12 September 2020
