Plans for Reading farmhouse conversion submitted

Plans to upgrade and extend an existing Victorian farmhouse in West Berkshire has been submitted.
Plans include a linear one-storey addition running west to east, perpendicular to and lightly touching the existing farmhouse. The simple form features a large concrete slab for both the roof and base, which juts out to one long side creating a porch overlooking the site.
Studio B.A.D Architects was commissioned to design a new 150m² scheme last August. Webb Yates Engineers are working alongside the studio to provide all structural engineering designs.
The scheme is due to complete on site by the end of 2021.
