We are thrilled to see the progress of the new pavilion and public realm for Lendlease in Elephant Park, South London.

The new pavilion will be the centrepiece of the park, accommodating a food and beverage kiosk, new community space and a viewing terrace overlooking the park.

Sustainability and community have been key considerations of the design process. The superstructure of the pavilion is constructed from cross-laminated timber and sustainably sourced timber used for the cladding and decking. The pavilion is completely integrated in the natural environment of the park, surrounding two trees. The scheme is due to complete on site later this year. 

Working alongside Bell Phillips Architects, all structural design has been made by Webb Yates Engineers.
