Merry Christmas from the Webb Yates team

This year’s Christmas ecard highlights Paradise, the low carbon mass timber workspace that’s set a new benchmark for low carbon workspace in London. It lands 35% under the RIBA 2030 embodied carbon target and has achieved BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and WELL Gold. The frame was engineered to withstand a 90-minute fire, which hasn’t been done before in the UK on a building of this kind. The accomplishment has been recognised across the industry, including at the Wood Awards, Offsite Awards, Structural Timber Awards, Structural Awards, and the Built by Nature Prize.
