Highly Commended at Wood Awards 2021

We're delighted that Kantor Centre of Excellence and David Brownlow Theatre both was Highly Commended at the Wood Awards ceremony on Thursday 25th November.
The sustainable David Brownlow Theatre building has been carefully crafted to sit harmoniously with the neighbouring buildings within the wooded campus setting. Natural materials create a passively ventilated theatre, designed to host school assemblies, music recitals and drama productions.
Chair of Buildings Judges, Jim Greaves, said “we were impressed by the composite concrete and timber structure adopted for the Kantor Centre of Excellence which, I am sure, will see many future applications of this construction method.”
