The AJ has revealed the finalists in the running for this year's AJ Architecture Awards 2022.

Coast House has been shortlisted for this year's Manser Medal - AJ House of the Year Award.

Designed by Hudson Architects, this intelligent home sits in the landscape of the Glaven Valley in North Norfolk. We delivered the building services for the scheme, which is passively as well as actively sustainable. The building fabric is highly insulated and air-tight to an exemplary standard employing Passivhaus technologies such as a twin stud timber frame, triple glazing and an insulated raft slab. Solar panels and Air Source Heat Pump support the energy requirements of the house.

Jubilee Pool has been shortlisted for best Community and Faith project.

Jubilee Pool is a Grade II listed art-deco saltwater bathing pool in Penzance. We worked with ScottWhitby Studio to complete Phase 1 of the project, which delivered a new café and restaurant alongside a suite of community and therapy spaces that now has tied in with the pool’s long term plan to use geothermal energy to create a warm thermal bathing facility.
