Dezeen has revealed its longlist for this year's Dezeen Awards 2022.

The Queen of Catford has been longlisted in the housing project category.

Designed by Tsuruta Architects, this new scheme comprises five apartments that have been created within a micro development on a small infill site. Located on Catford Broadway, the new residences have been squeezed above and behind two existing shops by refurbishing and extending a pair of terraced houses. The building has been designed to transform an alleyway into a small boulevard, with large windows at ground level to enliven the pedestrian route through to a car park.

Jubilee Pool has been longlisted in the rebirth project category.

Jubilee Pool is a Grade II listed art-deco saltwater bathing pool in Penzance. We worked with ScottWhitby Studio to complete Phase 1 of the project, which delivered a new café and restaurant alongside a suite of community and therapy spaces that now has tied in with the pool’s long term plan to use geothermal energy to create a warm thermal bathing facility.
