Cactus gets some new features
We’re excited to announce a number of new features released within the public version of Cactus, our parametric carbon calculator.
The new features available include:
- Basements: Below ground levels can now be modelled with either RC or piled retaining walls.
- Views: Users can now toggle a number of elements on/off in the view panel.
- Colours: New colours modes have been introduced, including colouring elements by type or carbon quantity.
Free to use, Cactus employs Grasshopper and ShapeDiver to let you play around with different grid sizes, materials, loads and more and calculate the embodied carbon of the building in real time.
