This is a key role within the practice, reporting to the Head of Practice to support the day-to-day running of our London studio and providing HR support across the business. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, the Studio Manager will help ensure a smooth and efficient office environment while contributing to our collaborative, creative culture.
We’re looking for candidates who have previous experience in a similar role and are keen to develop their HR expertise over time. Webb Yates is committed to supporting this progression through training and mentoring. Ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate relevant skills and attributes gained through previous roles, education, or projects that reflect the core capabilities required for this position.
You’ll bring proven experience in managing studio operations and HR processes, preferably with an understanding of UK employment law and HR policies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is also essential.
We’re looking for someone proactive, adaptable, and committed to problem-solving in a dynamic environment. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills are key, along with the ability to prioritise effectively and communicate with clarity. You’ll be a reliable, approachable team player who enjoys supporting creative professionals and maintaining a positive, collaborative office culture. Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information are vital.
A CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent is preferred, though we welcome candidates who have hands-on HR experience and a good understanding of employment law and policies.

- Manage and update HR policies, procedures, and the staff handbook
- Maintain HR systems and ensure accurate records are kept
- Lead recruitment processes, including offer letters, references, job descriptions, and inductions
- Coordinate and manage visa applications
- Organise performance reviews, training, CPDs, and professional development opportunities
- Support Head of Finance with monthly payroll for the business
- Support Senior Management Team with HR reports, data, and compliance with employment law
- Conduct exit interviews and following up on feedback
Office
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment
- Manage Health & Safety compliance
- Support the Head of Practice with company insurance and compliance matters
- Cultivate a collaborative and positive office culture, promoting creative thinking and teamwork among staff
- Support the Head of Practice to develop and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance productivity and foster a culture of innovation
- Engage with new business opportunities and contribute to the practice's long-term strategic objectives
- Assist with general administration duties as and when needed
