We are looking for outstanding Graduate Engineers to join our multi award winning consultancy in the following disciplines:
- Structural (London and Birmingham)
- Civil (London)
- Electrical (London)
- Mechanical (London)
You should have an enthusiasm for sustainability, the built environment and Architecture and should be keen to develop professionally in these fields. The successful candidates will have a sound understanding of engineering principles and be expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 honours BEng degree.
You will be expected to work alongside more senior engineers on all stages of the design of buildings and other projects. This will include initial scheme design of options, design development and coordination with other members of the design teams, detailed design calculations, assisting in the preparation of working drawings and details together with site inspections. You will be expected to undertake computer analyses for more complex solutions.
You will work as part of our team with full supervision and training as necessary and can expect greater responsibilities and swift career progression with experience. Webb Yates provides leadership and support for junior engineers to gain sufficient experience and training in working towards their professional status with relevant institution for their job role (ICE, IStructE, IMechE for example).

Responsibilities
- Liaise, collaborate and coordinate with other project team members
- Attend meetings and represent the organisation externally
- Produce project deliverables in line with budget and time constraints
- Ensure the checking and reviewing of your work
- Undertake discipline specific analysis and design
- Produce viable technical solutions, within the scope of a design brief
- Specify and co-ordinate the use of materials and systems
- Design using relevant design codes and supplementary information
- Carry out site visits and surveys
- Commitment to develop professional skills
- Responsible for developing and maintaining external peer level relationships
- Support senior team where required in bidding new projects
- Support business development by maintaining project relationships
- Compliance with CDM regulations in line with project duties
