We are looking for a full time Front of House Assistant to support the seamless operation of our new London studio. Working closely with the operations team and engineers, you will act as the first point of contact for the practice and have an opportunity to get involved with a wide range of activities across the business.

The ideal candidate will bring either experience in a similar administrative or front-of-house role, or a strong customer service background, combined with excellent organisational skills and professional communication abilities. Reporting to the Studio Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, well-organised studio environment.

Webb Yates Engineers — Front of House Assistant

Role

  • Welcome and assist clients, visitors and contractors to the studio
  • Answer the main phone, transferring calls, taking messages or responding to queries as appropriate
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and, working alongside the Kitchen Assistant, ensure spaces are prepared in advance of meetings starting
  • Provide refreshments for client and internal meetings in collaboration with the Kitchen Assistant
  • Ensure the common areas, kitchen and meeting rooms are always presentable and well-maintained
  • Receive, sort, distribute and send post and deliveries
  • Monitor and manage the studio email address, responding to or directing enquiries as appropriate
  • Assist with internal events where required
  • Support the Studio Manager with ordering office and kitchen supplies, and replenishing stock
  • Support the Head of Practice to ensure compliance with H&S legislation
  • Provide ad-hoc administration duties as required
