Building Services Revit/CAD Technician

We are seeking a Building Services Revit/CAD Technician to join Webb Yates Engineers in our London office. 

Webb Yates Engineers is a creative multidisciplinary engineering practice with offices in London and Birmingham. Webb Yates Engineers is looking for an experienced Revit/CAD Technician with minimum 5 years’ experience. Candidates will ideally have an HND or BEng or Building Services related Degree.

 Candidates will have appreciation of the process of producing viable engineering solutions, within the scope of a design brief and of the processes involved in the analysis and design of engineering elements. They will also have appreciation of how materials and/or systems are specified and incorporated into building design and of construction techniques. Candidates will have the ability to create Revit families and have an understanding of running clash detection reports.

 Candidates will have experience in the production of engineering documents by using Auto – CAD and Revit software as well as experience of health and safety requirements and legislation and knowledge of relevant environmental and sustainability issues.

 The successful candidate will be expected to prepare technical engineering deliverables including Building Information Modelling and CAD drawing production, attend internal meetings, supervise production of project deliverables and assist with the preparation of reports and specification. The successful candidate will also contribute towards developing Revit templates.
