Since joining Webb Yates Engineers in 2022, Ryan has worked on a variety of projects, including a new build timber framed climbing centre set within a country park, a refurbishment and three-storey vertical extension of an existing nine-storey concrete framed building, and a timber framed modular building to be replicated around the UK to create new youth community centres.
He has an excellent level of knowledge in all aspect of structural engineering, with particular experience in steel and concrete frame design, and is skilled at structural analysis, connection design, RC detailing, and working with BIM. He is currently working towards achieving Chartered Membership with the Institute of Structural Engineers.
Ryan graduated from Cardiff University in 2015 with his Masters in Engineering and worked for a number of industry consultancies, of varying sizes and reach, prior to joining us. His previous experience spans a number of typologies and sectors, with projects ranging from the £50m redevelopment of University Station in Birmingham to £100m+ city centre residential developments.
