This unique new build house in Oxfordshire comprises approximately 500m2 of internal accommodation, in addition to a swimming pool, separate garage block, and an extensive external terrace.
The house is divided into a living space and a bedroom wing, joined by a fully glazed atrium with a monocoque structure stair. The first floor living space and bedroom suite overlook the surrounding woodland, and the cantilevered terrace runs along the south façade, extending the living space into the landscape.
The building’s structure is formed of a composite steelwork frame with Holorib deck. The ground and first floor slabs are reinforced concrete, with the first floor spanning onto the load bearing blockwork.
The swimming pool is surrounded by glazing and has a 6x5m glass and stainless steel roof which is retractable to create a pool which can be open-air when desired.
