To celebrate World Engineering Day, a UNESCO international celebration that highlights the contributions of engineers and the importance they play in building a liveable and sustainable future, we designed some fun learning activities for your children.

Give your child fluency in static equilibrium by testing how many storeys of stories they can build, learn about static form by experimenting with Plaster of Paris, Gaudi style or try making this tensegrity structure with pipe cleansers and a string.

On Open City you’ll find fun and easy engineering activities designed by us.
