Last week, Webb Yates Engineers director Tom Webster joined Architecture Today’s ‘Applying circular economy principles to achieve net zero’ webinar.
Tom focused on steel and how it performs, structurally and in terms of carbon, compared to other structural materials – and how the industry is becoming more receptive to re-using structural steel in situ which would reduce the carbon footprint down to “almost nothing”.
