CEng BEng(Hons) MIStructE

John joined Webb Yates Engineers in 2019 and is one of our Project Directors. He works across several of our engineering teams, responsible for projects across the residential, commercial and education sectors. His current projects include designs for a new library at Merton College Oxford and proposals for upgrading facilities at the Grade 1 listed Highgate Cemetery.

John previously worked at Expedition, where he led the team responsible for The Living Planet Centre, a new home for WWF-UK, as well as a number of education and housing projects utilising modern methods of construction. Prior to this, he ran a team working on a variety of projects which included proposals for the redevelopment of Tottenham Court Road Underground Station. His first project in London was the Challenge of Materials Bridge in the Science Museum.

John has a passion for fostering strong working relationships with architects and other members other the design team and takes a hands-on approach throughout all stages of a project.
