James Croft, Mechanical Engineer

James Croft 2

BEng

James joined Webb Yates Engineers’ technical team in 2021, where he carried out building services coordination on a range on projects, including a high-end residential project in Surrey constructed largely from stone, as well as galleries, stadiums, higher education facilities and airports. James transitioned to the building services team, becoming a Mechanical Engineer in 2023.

He has extensive experience as a Revit/CAD technician. His technical background allows him to apply a precise level of accuracy to coordinate services. He is highly skilled at using Navisworks to perform clash detection between multiple Revit models and Dynamo scripting, working with various Revit add-ons to improve efficiency.

James graduated from De Montfort University in 2016 with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering. He gained experience working with a contracting firm engaged on Battersea Power Station, and with an engineering consultant co-ordinating fit-out/refurbishments projects, prior to joining our team.
